Where in Hampstead to Prepare Your Car for Winter

So we've already been hit with one bout of heavy snow this winter and we're bound to be hit by another before December's through. Of course, we were given warning about last weeks white-out, but being typically English, it seems that the majority of us were still taken by surprise and were made immobile for a week.
So our suggestion is prepare your car for the next wave! Of course, unless you have a four by four, or potentially a tank, too much snow will strand your car regardless of how much preparation you do. But there are things you can do, as suggested by the AA, that will keep your car ticking over in the cold.
Of course, many of you out there won't be of a mechanical mind. That is of course why local garages exist. Either to help you with supplies, suggestions, or to just outright do the work for you. Also, if you've got the money, they can help you fit some winter tyres (the AA suggest a tread of at least 3mm.) If you do want this sort of help, check out Auto Reliant Suspension Co or Daleham Garage, both of which have been recommended to me.
Of course, not everyopne will require a trip to the garage, or the help of professionals for that matter. But of course you may still need supplies. Strangly (or maybe not so), Sainsbury's down on the Finchley road actually has a decent stock of de-icers and equipment to prepare for your journey. Alternatively, you could always venture to the nearest Halfords, which actually isn't that near...
What ever you do though, take it slow and be safe!
