Tube Strikes Monday 6th September

The RMT and TSSA unions are due to strike this Monday (6th September) until Tuesday 7th. For information as to why, see our previous article complaining about it. Having experimented with TFL's journey planner, it seems as if the strike won't actually affect commuters too much. Tubes may be slightly less regular but people will still be able to get from A to B. To check your journey, head to TFL's website.

10,000 Transport for London staff are set to strike on the 6th September in protest against the removal of 800 jobs. The jobs to be removed are ticket office postions. The reasoning of course is that many ticket office positions just aren't needed.
