The deadline to apply for your child’s place at primary school this year is fast approaching. If you son or daughter is due to start school this September (basically, if they were born between the 1st September 2006 and the 31st August 2007), then you must apply for a place by the 15th January 2011.

    Don’t panic however if you do miss this date. You can still apply, however you will be less likely to be offered your preferred place if demand is high.

    Every application is entitled to six preferred choices in any London borough. However, the admission policies of the school must be adhered to, so do check the website of the schools in question.
