Which Pub in Hampstead is the Best?

It seems to be a constant source of debate as to which pub in Hampstead is the best. There's actually a huge amount of choice in such a small area, but which one is best going to suit your needs really does depend on what it is you want from your drinking experience.

A Good Old Pint
One of the more novel pubs in Hampstead has to be The Spaniard's Inn. Nestled on Spaniards Road between the two sides of Hampstead Heath, this is probably the nearest you can get to a country pub without actually leaving London. It has a decent atmosphere and is perfect for a pint after walking on the Heath (although the area around it can be a little spooky at night! Especially as it'r rumoured that a ghost walks the car-park...)
If you want something that's a little off of the beaten path and hence feels a lot more like a local boozer, head up the back roads from Heath Street and have a drink in The Hollybush. A friend of mine a few months back, returned to this pub after many years and still loved it.
If however you fancy something a little more rowdy, I'd recommend The White Horse. I used the Horse as my haunt during the World Cup and the atmosphere was enjoyable and friendly. A large pub as well so good if you have a big group.
One of my other personal favourites is the King William IV. Close to the tube, this a one of Hampstead's 'gay' pubs, but to be honest that's pretty inconsequential now. Anyone is welcome and of a week-day evening it's quiet and you can hear yourself talk. Always worth popping in for a quick pint.
There is one pub however that doesn't get much attention but really deserves it is the Old Bull and Bush. Situated on the outskirts of Hampstead at the end of New End Way, the pub overlooks Golders Hill Park. Perfectly positioned for families to pop down and see the animals in the Golders Hill zoo and then have a drink and some food. Alternatively, of a Friday night, the pub isn't as busy as other places get and is worth popping to if you fancy a quiet one.
Of course, this is all just my fancy and opinion. What do the rest of you think? Which is the best drinking hole in the whole of Hampstead?
