Warm Up Your Home This Winter

Of course winter’s approaching. Though you wouldn’t know it, what with the fantastic weather we’re having today.I imagine it won’t last (although you never know with our crazy weather!)
One thing that every one is going to want to consider is preparing their house for the oncoming cold. The obvious thing of course is to check your boiler. Many boilers in Hampstead will be old, and the last thing you want is them breaking down mid-winter. Should you have an issue with your boiler however, there are various places you can contact in order to get it repaired. Flow Return Limited for example or Black and White Property Maintenance.
One thing that everyone should do however, if they haven’t got around to it already is insulating their lofts. Not only is it good for saving energy (and in turn, saving the planet), it’ll also make a noticeable dent in your heating bills! At the moment, Camden Council are offering a helping hand to anyone who owns private flats by paying for their insulation. It’s not often you get something for free, but this offer apparently won’t last forever, so get moving! If you’re not lucky enough to qualify for the free insulation but still wish to go ahead with it (which you should, apparently it pays for itself after a couple of years!), there’s an extensive list of builders in the Hampstead People directory. Alternatively, there’s a rather interesting and useful site called mybuilder.com and they also have a list of individuals who’ll do such work.
Obviously though, the best recommendation can only come from people who have used a company or individual and have been exceptionally pleased with the result! If that’s the case, then please share it with us! You could always write a review on the business directory as well!
