Environmental Excellence in Camden Organisations Awards Launched

Camden Council opened applications this week for the EECO awards.

Local businesses and organisations in the borough of Camden are welcome to apply for the award, especially if they create some form of environmental benefit in the area.

The awards for organisations are as follows:

Greatest improvement in environmental performance

Innovation in energy efficiency and carbon reduction

Innovation in sustainable transport and travel

Innovation in waste management and recycling

Small steps award for sustainability communication and behaviour change

Outstanding contribution to environmental sustainability in Camden

As well as these categories, individuals are welcome to put themselves forward for exceptional contributions to their organisation's environmental performance. Everyone who enters will be put into a draw to win a hamper of organic and fair-trade food as well as a meal at Camden's eco-restaurant Konstam.
