Antony Penrose is the son of Sir Roland Penrose and Lee Miller. Sir Roland, a painter and writer, was instrumental in introducing the Surrealists to the UK and was a close friend of Picasso. His wife, Lee Miller, had been the muse of Man Ray and became a celebrated war photographer, producing some of the most iconic images of the Second World War. They lived in Downshire Hill, Hampstead during the war and Antony Penrose, Director of the Lee Miller Archive, has kindly agreed to give a talk about his parents' lives and work.
