Hampstead's Stolen Dogs All Returned

Fantastic news for the nutritionist Annabel Karmel who, as mentioned last week owned one of the eleven dogs that were stolen in Hampstead when a dog-walking van was stolen when the driver left the keys in the ignition as he collected a twelfth dog.

    Nine of the dogs were found tied to a lamppost in North Finchley and the van dumped near-by but Ms karmel's Samoyed, Hamilton, and a pug belonging to Mr and Mrs Allan were still missing.

    Rewards were being offered by both sets of owners and were even raised to £7000 as they became even more desperate. The Allan's pug was found at the beginning of last week and according to the lastest Ham&High, a reward was paid. A couple of days later the same woman who found the pug called to say she had also found Ms Karmel's Samoyed.

    The dogs were originally stolen when a van belonging to the 'Good Boy Dog School' was stolen, containing all eleven dogs. There has been a huge amount of criticism aimed at the school about the event and various comments about the number of dogs that were being walked. Eleven dogs does seem like a large number to control at once, but the owner of the company Dima Yeremenko defends their procedures.

    There have been many comments on HampsteadPeople about dogs on the Heath and limiting the number that should be walked at one time, but should the company have a set limit on the number of dogs that they can deal with at one time, not only in the interest control, but also to prevent mistakes like this one?
