Earlier this week, there were two attacks on members of the public in Hampstead. The police have released an appeal today for anyone who may have any information.

The first attack took place near Jack Straw's Castle
Both assaults took place Tuesday night, both on Hampstead Heath. The first was the section of the Heath next to Jack Straws Castle. The man was confronted by two men whilst he sat on a bench, was then pushed to the ground and had his pockets emptied.
The second assault was even more worrying. A man walking near West Heath road when he was approached by a large group of men (approximately ten). He was punched, then pushed to the floor and kicked.
Needless to say, should anyone have any information on these attacks, please contact Camden police. However, residents of Hampstead should take this as a reminder that, sadly, Hampstead Heath is not a safe place to be walking alone late at night. Please be careful and sensible!
