If you only visit ine place in Hampstead go to Kenwood

In my mind this is the real treasure of Hampstead. Bordering Hampstead Heath Kenwood House used to be a private estate and is now an English Heritage site. The imposing and stately white house is filled with beautiful artwork including some Rembrandts and the rolling green slopes, lakes and woody clusters make it a perfect place for picnics, walkes, frisbee etc. Flowers a re beautiful in spring time and there a re also sorts of orinignal features such as tree huts, leafy tunnels etc - an adventurers paradise at any age. Also great concerts in this dramatic setting in the summer, an absolute musr see!
