Police Call for Witnesses After Attack Outside Hampstead Heath Station

A shocking attack occurred in Hampstead, on Heath Hurst road earlier this month, and police have requested that any witnesses come forward.

The injured man was treated at the Royal Free Hospital
The attack occurred on Heath Hurst road, near Hampstead Heath Overground station, on the 10th November at 07:15 in the morning. The victim was a 49 year old doctor who was attacked by a mugger armed with metal piping.
The doctor was treated at the Royal Free Hospital.
Detective Constable Chris Turner was quoted as saying 'This was an unprovoked attack on a man going about his normal business in Hampstead. We are thoroughly investigating this robbery, looking at various intelligence information and speaking with the local Safer Neighbourhoods Team. We ask that any witnesses come forward and speak with police.'
