Hotels in Hampstead

Something you don't consider as a resident of Hampstead is the wealth of hotels and hospices on our doorstep. It goes without saying that Hampstead is a wonderful place to stay if you're visiting London (close to the centre, but next to the Heath for walks and general relaxation) and an area that often gets over-looked by visitors to London. So if you're visiting London anytime soon, maybe consider one of the following options!

    There's actually a hotel in Hampstead called Quality Hotel. A strange name, but I'm reliably informed that it does exactly what it says on the tin. A three star hotel, if you look around the web, it seems to have generally been rated very well, though seems to be slightly on the expensive side.

    If you're looking for something a little cheaper and basic, the Premier Travel Inn or the Express Holiday Inn will do the job. I'm not sure I need to go into much detail about Travel Inns. The majority of people seemed to have stayed in one at one time or another... They're somewhere convenient to sleep.

    If you're looking for the traveling experience of London, look no further than the London Hostel Association. Hostels are of course notoriously cheap, though Hampstead being Hampstead, even the hostels are a little pricier! Though £26 a night really isn't bad.

    If you're in the mood for something a little more intimate and personal, the Hampstead Village Guest House is the place to go. A friend of mine stayed there recently and said that it was absolutely lovely. Cheapest rate is £55 though, and that doesn't include anything but a bed and shared facilities.

    My final recommendation, and one that I've personally stayed in (despite living in Hampstead, which is strange...) is the Marriott. A nice hotel, posh without feeling intimidating. Again, a little on the expensive side, but worth it if you can afford it!
