Hampstead Garden Suburb's Henrietta Barnett School, the top school in the country last year for GCSE results, achieved another set of outstanding results today, their best ever, with 90% A*-A grades.

The majority of their students (54/93) gained 9 or more A*-A grades, with 13 girls walking away with straight A*s. As mentioned, last year the school was the top of the GCSE league tables, and with this year's results improving upon last years, I'm sure the school will hope to see more of the same.

Head Teacher Mr Blond was very proud of the students 'These fantastic results are a tribute to the great energy, enthusiasm and character of our Year 11 girls. They are a very supportive year group and their examination results tell only a small part of their story.'

'Congratulations must go to the girls themselves but also to all of their teachers who have taught, encouraged and supported the girls throughout the year.'

For more photos of Henrietta Barnett's students receiving their results, head over to our gallery and more results for Hampstead's schools will be released throughout the day.
