Gun Found on Hampstead Heath

A gun was found on Tuesday (3rd January) this week on Hampstead Heath.

    The gun was found, hidden inside a sock, by one of Hampstead Heath's park rangers. It was promptly collected by the police, and tests and investigations are underway.

    The discovery was made in West Heath, an area that is renowned for cruising. It is unknown as of yet whether the gun is related to cruising activity, or other firearm incidents in the area.
