Changes as to how to Contact Camden Council
By Simon__Lee | Tuesday, May 31, 2011, 17:46
From tomorrow, major changes will take
effect as to how residents of Camden should contact the council.
Originally, the process was a little
confusing, but now it has been simplified. All of Camden's receptions
have now been combined into one venue on Argyle Street in near Kings
Cross. The reception will offer the following services:
Holborn district housing offices
Council tax
Benefits
Housing options advice and support
Electoral services
Pest control
Planning
Public protection
Rents
Land charges
To book an appointment for any of these
services, the new number to call is 020 7974 6866.
The old town hall will still be used
for cashiers, registrars and parking.
The reception at the new venue, now
called 'Contact Camden' is open Monday to Friday, 9-5 and the phone
lines are open 8-6. In an emergency, residents can call 020 7974
4444.
The council's website does recommend
that you check the website first before calling and making an
appointment to save you time should there be any other procedures for
the particular area you're looking at.
