Ceiling Collapses in the Stag Pub

It was shocking to hear of the accident that occurred in the Stag pub, Hampstead, last weekend. Customers were evacuated from the pub on Fleet road after the ceiling collapsed.

    The incident occurred on Saturday 7th between 8PM and 8:30PM, one of the pub's busiest times. A six metre section of the roof fell, landing on several people in the pub. The bar was badly damaged, and there were a handful of people injured.

    Ambulances and fire-engines were called to the scene, and four individuals were taken to hospital and treated for head injuries, whilst the fire crews cleared the debris. Twitter was awash with local residents announcing the accident, whilst many posted pictures.The Stag did not comment at the time, but are open for business as usual.
