BBC Bus Visits Kentish Town

Many of you would have noticed billboards around the capital advertising the fact that analogue TV channels will be disappearing by the 18th April. For residents who still use analogue TV, a switchover to digital is required, else they will lose their channels until the switch is made.
Despite the alarmist adverts which are most likely terrifying older people, the government and local councils are actually doing a lot to make sure no-one is left behind. The BBC run a Switchover Help Scheme to assist older and disabled residents. As well as this, on Friday 3rd February, the BBC bus will be parked in Kentish Town Road between 10am and 4pm to answer any questions people may have.

It's good that they're at least giving help to those who need it...

ReportIf I were old and didn't know what digital was, I would be terrified by posters telling me that 'On the 18th April, your TV channels will DISAPPEAR!!!'
