2-4-1 Offer for the Affordable Art Fair Hampstead

The Affordable Art Fair comes to Hampstead next Thursday, and as many of you may have read last week, it's a great opportunity for the residents of Hampstead and the surrounding area to acquire original art work at a price that won't break the bank.

    The organisers of the fair have very kindly offered Hampstead People readers two-for-one entry upon presentation of this page at the door (usual price £12-£15). Simple print off this page and present it at the ticket office. For more details about the location (it will be next to East Heath car park) and times, visit the Affordable Art Fair website.

    The fair will include, not only 90 galleries full of art by well-known and up-and-coming artists, but several other activities to make for an enjoyable day out. There will be an opportunity for families to get involved in making a giant mural with the Printmakers in Residence, whilst Hampstead School of Art tutors will be giving workshops in a variety of media.

    There will be walking talks with the Contemporary Arts Society who will be advising how to spot the next big thing, and finally, over the past few months, artists have been submitting their own work inspired by Hampstead Heath, and the winning piece will be displayed at the Affordable Art Fair.

    Those who can't wait until the Thursday to visit the fair can purchase tickets for charity private view. Tickets are slightly more expensive, but all proceeds go to the Royal Free charity. The 2-4-1 offer isn't available on the Wednesday evening.
